Major: Exercise Science

Chiara Isanto is an Exercise Science major at Union Commonwealth University who values the school’s supportive community, where both professors and classmates genuinely want to see each other succeed.

Chiara’s passion for sports and helping others led her to pursue a career as an Athletic Trainer, where she can stay close to athletics while guiding athletes through injury recovery and peak performance. Her favorite subjects in high school were P.E. and English, reflecting both her athletic and academic versatility.

Outside of class, Chiara enjoys trying out new sports like paddle tennis. Her go-to drink is Dr. Pepper, and on road trips, she reaches for Sour Patch Kids. A bowl of pasta is her favorite comfort food, and she’s most active on Instagram.

On the field, Chiara describes herself as a supportive and dependable teammate, always giving 100% effort in everything she does. She wants to be remembered as someone who never backed down from a challenge and always lifted others up.

Chiara credits Robin Hamilton and Yardley Polsen, her coach from last season, as key figures who have made a positive impact on her Union journey. While soccer is her main sport, volleyball is her second-best sport.
