Union women's bowling MSC Championships recap

Bowling Green, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University's women's bowling team recently competed in the Mid-South Conference Championships. The Bulldogs competed in single, double, and full-team matches.

Singles

Mollie Correll led the way for the Bulldogs with a total of 534 pins across three games, including a game-high of 212. Heaven Cooper wasn't far behind, posting a game-high of 200 pins and an overall total of 477. 

Laila Lambert tallied 447 pins over three games with a single-game best of 159. In the singles division, Olivia Brock and Kadee Swary finished neck and neck, each recording a total of 387 pins. Brock's top game came in at 133 pins, while Swary had game-high of 134.

Doubles:

Correll and Cooper combined a total of 1,011 pins, with Correll leading the way with a high game of 212 and Cooper posted a score of 200. Lambert and Swary tallied 834 pins overall, with Lambert notching a game-high 159 and Swary rolling a top score of 134.

Championship Rounds

In round one, the Bulldogs fell 4-0 to Pikeville. (246-125 / 157-155 / 199-146 / 172-97 )

In round two, the Bulldogs were defeated 4-0 by Lindsey Wilson. (121-119 / 170-146 / 160-143 / 163-120)
