Union Women's Bowling History

After a three-decade absence, bowling returned to Union in the late 2000’s as competitive play was commenced in the 2008-09 season. Bowling became the second non-traditional sport introduced at Union.

Union became the 14th NAIA institution to offer bowling. Initially affiliated with the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Intercollegiate Team and Singles Championships, Union would later transition to the Mid-South Conference. The transition to the MSC marked a significant chapter in the Bulldogs’ program. Click here to read about bowling being elevated to emerging sport status by the NAIA in 2010.
