Union women’s bowling recap from the MSC Brandon Burns Memorial

Smyrna, Tenn. - The Union Commonwealth University women's bowling team competed in the MSC Brandon Burns Memorial on Sunday.

UCU placed 11th overall with a team total of 2,966 pins and a Baker total of 1,138. The Bulldogs posted a combined total of 1,138 in the Baker rounds. 

Leading the charge for the Bulldogs was Laila Lambert, who knocked down 725 pins for a tournament average of 181.25. Lambert recorded a high score of 201 in the opening game. 

Madelynn Painter followed closely with a tournament average of 160.75 and a total of 643 pins. Heaven Cooper contributed with an individual total of 592 pins and a tournament average of 148, while Mollie Corell added a total of 577 pins, averaging 144.25. 

Olivia Brock rounded out the team with an individual total of 429 pins and a tournament average of 107.25.
