Union women’s bowling competes in the Hoosier Classic

Indianapolis, Ind. - The Union College women's bowling team competed in its first-ever Hoosier Classic this weekend. The classic is an invite-only event featuring NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA schools. The Bulldogs finished 60th with a total score of 4514 pins.

Heaven Cooper led the way by placing 180th. She bowled in six games with a game-high of 192, a total of 1006 pins, and a tournament average of 167.667.

Madelynn Napier was right behind at 195; also bowling in six games. She recorded a game-high of 171, a total of 986 pins, and an average of 164.333.

In 197th place, Amber Thomason bowled in six games with a game-high of 194. She had a total of 978 pins and a tournament average of 163.

Meghan Bernard also bowled in six games. She placed at 243 with a game-high of 160, a total of 844 pins, and an average of 140.667.

Olivia Brock placed 281st in her six games bowled. Her total was 700. She had a game-high of 135, and a tournament average of 116.667.
