Union’s Madelynn Napier selected as Mid-South Conference Women’s Bowler of the Week

Barbourville, Ky. - Union College women's bowling senior Madelynn Napier has been named the Mid-South Conference Women's Bowler of the Week.

At the Hammer Saints Classic this past weekend, Napier secured the 17th spot. She competed in all four games, and amassed an individual total of 653 pins. Napier's tournament average was 163.25, which included a game-high of 180.

This marked Napier's second-best performance of the season; just shy of her 15th-place finish at the Bulldog Bash in Union's season-opener.

"Now that she is having to bowl all the time, her skill set has improved and she is showing off her talent and hard work that she has put in," said head coach Tom Doyle.
