Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University volleyball team hosted No. 23 Columbia International on Friday night. The Bulldogs fell 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-16.)
Union was led in kills by Raquel Kessler, who recorded 10. Maddy McGaughey led UCU in assists with 10, while Sarah Charkosky totaled eight. Kessler led Union in digs with five, while McGaughey and Nicole Almestica each tallied four.
The Bulldogs are now 4-9 (2-2 AAC) this season, while Columbia International is 14-1 (4-0 AAC). Up next for UCU is two matches on Saturday, Sept. 21. The Bulldogs will host Columbia at 11:00 a.m. with a matchup against Cumberlands slated for 2:30 p.m.
