Christa Hicks named Union’s assistant volleyball coach

Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University volleyball program recently named Christa Hicks as Union's assistant volleyball coach.

Hicks played volleyball at Union in 2012, and was once named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Hitter of the Week. She played college volleyball at three schools including Union. Hicks was a student assistant for Union in 2013.

Following multiple years coaching high school and AAU volleyball, she spent the 2018 season as an assistant men's and women's volleyball coach at Briar Cliff University. She returned to AAU coaching for nearly five years, while now being the assistant at Union.
