Union’s Raquel Kessler named to First-Team Northeast Region by AVCA

Barbourville, Ky. – On Thursday, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) released its NAIA women's volleyball All-Region teams. Union's Raquel Kessler was named First-Team in the Northeast Region.

Kessler tallied 379 kills this season, which ranks second in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC). She averaged 3.38 kills per set, which ranks sixth in the conference.

She tallied 83 total blocks, which ranks seventh in the AAC. Kessler averaged 0.74 blocks per set, which ranks seventh in the conference.

The senior from Jackson Center, Ohio, was named First-Team All-AAC in 2022 and 2023.
