Union women’s track and field recap from Mountaineer Open

Berea, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University women's track and field team competed in the Mountaineer Open on Saturday.

A mark of 4.66m placed Erin Pease fourth in the long jump. Morgan Blakley placed seventh in the javelin throw with a mark of 19.40m.

In the 200-meter dash, Melanie Partin placed 10th with a time of 30.50. In shot put, Pease had a mark of 8.53m to place her fourth.

Pease finished third in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.43. In the 400-meter dash, Partin recorded a time of 1:09.94 to place fifth.

Alex Garcia, Partin, Pease, and Hunter Wethington competed in the mixed 4x400-meter relay. They placed fifth with a time of 4:11.58.
