NAIA Women’s Tennis National Championship Bracket released; Union receives at-large bid

Barbourville, Ky. – The 24-team field for the 2024 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship was announced on Tuesday. The Union Commonwealth University Bulldogs received an at-large bid to the event, which will be held in Mobile, Ala.

The Bulldogs were listed at No. 15 in the final NAIA Top 25 Rating of the season. In the bracket, Union was put at No. 12 with a matchup against No. 21 McPherson in the First Round. McPherson received an automatic bid for winning the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) Tournament.

In the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Tournament, the Bulldogs advanced to the finals. Union is 16-6 this season, while McPherson is 17-4. The Bulldogs enter this matchup having won seven of their past eight matches.
