No. 13 Union wins 5-2 over No. 23 Reinhardt

Barbourville, Ky. – The Union College women's tennis team picked up an impressive 5-2 victory on Monday over No. 23 Reinhardt. The Bulldogs have won three matches in a row and seven of their past eight.

Doubles:

Lucy Spice and Liliana Drukerova (Union) defeated Camila Neyra and Hanna Blinouskaya 7-6.

Pilar Becerra and Nina Thomet defeated Anna Nevada Loendahl Henriksen and Anasatasiia Iakovlieva (Union) 6-4.

Elyse Standing and Mia Hoeddinghaus defeated Beatriz Verdial and Laia Garriga Oms (Union) 7-6.

Singles:

Liliana Drukerova (Union) defeated Ana Josic 6-4, 6-0.

Magdalena Skachova (Union) defeated Hanna Blinouskaya 5-7, 6-1, 6-4.

Camila Neyra defeated Anastasiia Iakovlieva (Union) 6-4, 6-3.

Beatriz Verdial (Union) defeated Paula Blaschke 6-3, 6-0.

Laia Garriga Oms (Union) defeated Nina Thomet 2-6, 6-4, 7-6.

Lucy Spice (Union) defeated Pilar Becerra 6-1, 4-6, 6-3.

The Bulldogs are now 8-3 (3-0 AAC) this season, while Reinhardt is 8-4 (3-1 AAC). Up next for Union is a match at Milligan on Tuesday, March 19, at 1:00 p.m.
