No. 16 Union advances to 7-0 with win over Midway

Barbourville, Ky - The No. 16 Union College women's tennis team defeated Midway 7-0 on Sunday. With the win, the Bulldogs are still undefeated this season with a record of 7-0.

Union swept doubles play by winning 3-0. Rin Igarashi and Karen Kondo won 6-0; Liliana Drukerova and Anastasiia Iakovlieva won 6-1; and Maria Arteaga & Nicole Viljoen won 6-4.

In singles play, Igarashi won (4-6, 7-6, 1-0); Kondo won (6-1, 6-0); Drukerova won (6-0, 6-0); Iakovlieva won (6-1, 6-0); Kitashita won (6-2, 6-0); and Viljoen won (6-3, 6-0).

The Bulldogs play at Treutt McConnell on Wednesday.
