No. 16 Union defeats No. 24 SCAD Atlanta

The No. 16 Union College women's tennis team picked up a 4-3 win over No. 24 SCAD Atlanta on Saturday.

Karen Kondo and Rin Igarashi won their doubles match 6-1, but SCAD Atlanta took the doubles point 2-1.

The Bulldogs needed to win four of the six singles matches to win the match, and that's just what they did.

Kondo won (6-2, 6-1); Liliana Drukerova won (6-4, 6-1); Anastasiia Iakovlieva won (6-4, 6-2); and Maria Arteaga won (2-5, 6-3, 6-4).

Union is now 6-0 this season. The Bulldogs host Midway on Sunday, March 5, at 11:00 a.m.
