Union women’s swimming and diving breaks four records at the Bulldog Invite

Barbourville, Ky. - The Union Commonwealth University women's swimming and diving team broke several records at the Bulldog Invite.

The Bulldogs set four new program bests.

The team of Lise Puissant, Emma Phillips, Manca Petrič, and Dorottya Józsa broke the 800-yard freestyle relay record with a time of 7:42.07, surpassing the 2012 record of 7:44.96 set by C. Harrigan, M. Fittro, T. Peterson, and R. Cabral.

Sarah Graves broke her own record in the 3-meter dive, earning a score of 210.75. She previously set the record earlier this season with a score of 204.90 in a meet against Campbellsville and Lindsey Wilson.

Petrič had an exceptional individual performance, breaking two records. She claimed the 500 freestyle record with a time of 5:01.68, beating Callie Harrigan's 2014 record of 5:07.14. Petrič also set a new standard in the 100 butterfly, finishing in 57.24 to surpass Renata Cabral's 2012 mark of 57.51.
