Furthermore, Lise Puissant also clinched a top-20 finish as she secured 17th place in the 500 yard freestyle event.

Union head swim coach Ryan Winders shared these sentiments:

"I am extremely proud of the women. They all showed up in a big way. It has been several years since Union has had any woman swim at nationals, let alone make a final.  I was impressed all week by how they battled and swam. Emma making three A Finals was incredible. She had some best times and broke two school records.  We really made a statement this weekend about Union and the future of women's swimming here."
