Bio

Carnell Learmond is entering his second season as Union’s head women’s soccer coach.

Learmond had a very successful playing career at Lindsey Wilson. In 2010, Learmond was an NAIA Second Team All-American selection, while also being tabbed the Mid-South Conference Player of the Year.

In 2009, Learmond and the Blue Raiders advanced to the finals of the NAIA Tournament. He is tied for seventh in career goals scored at Lindsey Wilson with 48.

Prior to arriving at Union, Learmond has been the head women’s soccer coach at Blanche Ely High School in Pompano Beach, Fla., an assistant men’s soccer coach at Lindsey Wilson, and an assistant women’s soccer coach at Northeastern Junior College. His time at Northeastern was capped with a 12-4-1 record in the 2021-22 season.
