Columbia, Ky. – The Union College women's soccer team played at Lindsey Wilson on Saturday, Sept. 30, in a non-conference matchup.
In the eighth minute, Lindsey Wilson's Emilie Bernard scored off an assist by Ashiat Naluggwa. That goal gave the Blue Raiders a 1-0 lead at halftime.
In the second half, Lindsey Wilson extended its lead when Naluggwa scored off an assist by Bernard. The Blue Raiders won the game 2-0.
Union registered three shots on goal, while Lindsey Wilson had five. Union goalie Chiara Isanto tallied three saves.
The Bulldogs are now 3-6 this season, while Lindsey Wilson is also 3-6. Up next for Union is a home conference game against Montreat on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 5:00 p.m.
