2023 Union women’s soccer season preview

Barbourville, Ky. – The Union College women's soccer team begins the 2023 regular season today, Sept. 2, with a matchup at Georgetown.

The Bulldogs enter the 2023 campaign with three players listed on the Appalachian Athletic Conference's (AAC) Women's Soccer Players to Watch List.

Miranda Cardona (OM), Ana Velasco (AM), and Charlotte McNay (CB) were the three representatives for Union. In the AAC's Preseason Poll, Union was slotted at No. 13.

Following today's matchup at Georgetown, Union will play at Midway on Tuesday, Sept. 5. The Bulldogs' first home game of the season will be on Sept. 9 against Brenau at 11:00 a.m. in a conference matchup.
