MONTREAT, N.C. - The offense failed to get going again as Union was defeated 3-0 in an Appalachian Athletic Conference women's soccer road matchup against Montreat (N.C.) Wednesday.
The Bulldogs were held without a goal for the fourth game in a row as a swarming Cavalier defense prevented them from even getting a shot off. Offensively, Montreat was led by Hayden Bunn, who scored two goals.
Union has just two games remaining in the regular season and will wrap up AAC play against Columbia (S.C.) at 1 p.m. Saturday, which will also serve as senior day.
