GAINESVILLE, Ga. - Madison Hebert was dynamite in goal, but the Union offense couldn't give her the support she needed, as the Bulldogs fell 1-0 against Brenau (Ga.) in an Appalachian Athletic Conference meeting Saturday.
Hebert saved 11 of the 12 shots on goal she faced, only surrendering a goal to Hannah Listwin early in the second half.
Unfortunately, the Golden Tigers completely shutdown Union's attack, allowing just one shot while keeper Jordan Smith got the win despite not making a single save.
Union (1-8, 1-6), is back home Wednesday, hosting Bluefield (Va.) at 5 p.m.
