Union golf recap from the East Tennessee Collegiate

Johnson City, Tenn. - The Union Commonwealth University men's and women's golf team competed in the East Tennessee Collegiate on Monday and Tuesday.

Men's Golf:

The Bulldogs secured a ninth-place finish in their recent 18-hole tournament. Leading the way for the team was Gabe Raymundo, who shot a 78 in round one and a 79 in round two. He finished at +13 with a total of 157. 

Luke Townhill followed closely behind. He went +15 after having a score of 79 and 80 for a total of 159. Kaleb Ellis rounded out his performance at +26. Ellis recorded a score of 82 and 88 for a total of 170, while Bryce Messer completed the tournament at +34 as he posted rounds of 83 and 95 for a total of 178.

Women's Golf:

In 18 holes, Mea Anderson shot a 94 in round one and a 102 in round two. She finished at +52 with a total of 196.
