No. 10 Union falls to No. 7 TWU in AAC Tournament

Kingsport, Tenn. – The No. 10 seeded Union Commonwealth University women's basketball team played against No. 7 seeded Tennessee Wesleyan on Wednesday in the AAC Tournament.

UCU had the game's final possession, but were unable to score. UCU fell short 60-57.

Union's Madison Brady led all scorers with 21 points, while registering a game-leading seven rebounds. Brady led UCU in steals with two.

Rachel Smith tallied 17 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Her four assists were tied for the most by any player in the matchup.

Gracie Jervis totaled 11 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Jervis was 3-of-6 from 3-PT range. Ja'Naia Moran registered seven points, while McKenzi Himes also scored for Union.

UCU is now 10-19 on the season, while Tennessee Wesleyan is 16-12.
