Union falls 60-52 against Johnson on Senior Day

Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University women's basketball team hosted Johnson on Saturday. The matchup featured Senior Day for the Bulldogs. Union recognized Ja'Naia Moran, Claire Belcher, Gracie Jervis, Mylaiysha Norman, McKenzie Himes, and Madison Brady.

Himes led Union in scoring with 14 points, while going 6-of-8 from the floor. She also accounted for eight rebounds. Brady registered 13 points and a game-leading 15 rebounds. Her 15 rebounds are the second most by a Bulldog this season.

Jervis tallied nine points, four assists, and four steals. Her four assists were tied with Rachel Smith for the most in the matchup by a Bulldog, while her four steals were tied for the most by any player in the game.

Smith and Moran each had five points, while Harper Coffey and Natalie Johnson each scored three.

The Bulldogs are now 10-18 (9-13 AAC) this season, while Johnson is 24-4 (19-3 AAC). Union will be the No. 10 seed in the 2025 WinWon AAC Women's Basketball Tournament.
