Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University women's basketball team picked up an 84-69 victory over Brenau on Saturday.
Madison Brady tallied 27 points and nine rebounds, which led all scorers in each category. Brady's 27 points are the third most by a Bulldog this season.
McKenzi Himes registered 21 points, while Emrey Glover tallied nine points and Rachel Smith scored eight points.
Smith led all players with five steals, while also tallying six rebounds and five assists. Ja'Naia Moran registered six points.
Gracie Jervis tallied five points. Jervis tallied six assists, which led all players. Harper Coffey, Lindsey Pirkle, and Claire Belcher also scored for UCU.
The Bulldogs are now 7-14 (6-9 AAC) this season, while Brenau is 5-15 (4-11 AAC). Up next for UCU is a home conference game against Montreat on Monday, Feb. 3, at 6:00 p.m.
