Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University women's basketball team hosted Milligan on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell short 85-69.
Union's Madison Brady tallied an impressive 22 points, 17 rebounds, and three blocks. She led all players in each category.
Her 17 rebounds are the most by a Bulldog since the 2021-22 season when Brooke Hammonds registered at least 17 rebounds on four occasions. Brady's three blocks are tied with three other performances for the most by a Bulldog this season.
McKenzi Himes tallied 13 points, while Ja'Naia Moran scored 12 points and Emrey Glover registered 10. Glover recorded seven assists and five steals, which were each tied for the most by any player in the matchup.
Rachel Smith and Gracie Jervis each registered five points for UCU, while Sarah Smith also scored for Union.
The Bulldogs are now 5-14 (4-9 AAC) this season, while Milligan is now 15-6 (13-2 AAC). Up next for UCU is a home conference game against Columbia on Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 5:30 p.m.
