Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University women's basketball team hosted Bryan on Wednesday. The Bulldogs fell short 94-62.
Madison Brady led UCU in scoring with 25 points off 9-of-13 shooting from the floor. Rachel Smith tallied 13 points, while McKenzi Himes recorded nine points and Natalie Johnson contributed seven.
Gracie Jervis scored five points, while Emrey Glover and Ja'Naia Moran also scored for Union. Jervis tallied a team-leading four assists. Himes and Sarah Smith each registered a team-leading five rebounds.
The Bulldogs are now 5-13 (4-8 AAC) this season, while Bryan is 10-9 (8-6 AAC). Up next for Union is a home conference game against Milligan on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 2:00 p.m. The matchup features Alumni Basketball Day for the Bulldogs.
