Union falls against Reinhardt

Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University women's basketball team hosted Reinhardt on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell short 79-48.

McKenzi Himes led UCU in scoring with 13 points, while Gracie Jervis tallied seven points and Emrey Glover scored six. Jervis registered five steals, which led all players in today's matchup and is the most by a Bulldog this season.

It marks the most steals by a Union Bulldog since Ja'Naia Moran tallied six against Kentucky Christian on Feb. 24, 2024.

Claire Belcher tallied five points. Moran, Madison Brady, and Lindsey Pirkle registered four points. Natalie Johnson and Rachel Smith also scored for Union.

The Bulldogs are now 2-9 (1-5 AAC) this season, while Reinhardt is 9-3 (5-1 AAC). Up next for the Bulldogs is a road conference game against Truett McConnell on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 5:30 p.m.
