Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University women's basketball team hosted Pikeville on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell short 90-59.
UCU's Madison Brady led all scorers with 29 points, while going 12-of-19 from the floor in 23 minutes of playing time. Brady also registered a team-leading seven rebounds.
McKenzi Himes totaled 11 points, while Gracie Jervis scored eight points. Lindsey Pirkle, Rachel Smith, Emrey Glover, Mylaiysha Norman, and Claire Belcher also scored for Union.
The Bulldogs are now 2-5 (1-3 AAC) this season, while Pikeville is 5-2 (4-1 AAC). Up next for Union is a matchup against No. 12 Georgetown on Friday, Nov. 29, at 7:45 p.m. in Kingsport, Tenn.
