No. 10 seeded Union falls against No. 7 Tennessee Wesleyan in AAC Tournament

Kingsport, Tenn. – The No. 10 seeded Union College women's basketball team fell short on Thursday to No. 7 seeded Tennessee Wesleyan in the AAC Tournament.

With 0:04 remaining in the fourth quarter, Union's Madison Brady connected on a 3-pointer that tied the game 63-63. In the matchup's final possession, Tennessee Wesleyan's Jacelyn Stone hit a game-winning jumper to give TWU a 65-63 win.

Union's McKenzi Himes led all scorers with 25 points to go with six rebounds. Brady tallied 16 points, while Rachel Smith recorded eight points, 11 rebounds, and five assists.

Mylaiysha Norman and Raley Snodgrass each registered six points for Union, while Ja'Naia Moran tallied two points. Union won the rebounding battle 40-32, while registering 40 points in the paint and 18 assists.

Union is now 8-21 this season, while Tennessee Wesleyan is 13-12.
