Brady named to All-AAC Second Team & selected as Newcomer of the Year; Smith selected to AAC All-Freshmen Team

Barbourville, Ky. – The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) has released its 2023-24 Women's Basketball All-Conference Team and Awards.

Union's Madison Brady was named All-AAC Second Team, while also being selected as the Newcomer of the Year. Brady is averaging 16.3 PPG and 7.9 RPG, while shooting 54.6% from the floor.

The Bulldogs' Rachel Smith was named to the AAC's All-Freshmen Team. Smith is averaging 11.2 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and 4.3 APG.

McKenzi Himes was selected as Union's Champion of Character. Himes, Claire Belcher, Morgan Blakley, Haley Brock, Madison Cox, Gracie Jervis, Ciara Uphoff, and Emily Whitson were named to the AAC's All-Academic Team.
