Dayton, Tenn. – The Union College women's basketball team had a tough matchup on Wednesday against a Bryan team that entered the matchup 20-1 in conference play this season. The Bulldogs fell short 112-55.
Madison Brady scored 25 points, which is the most points by a Bulldog this season. Brady's 11 field goals are also the most by a Bulldog this season, while her 20 attempts are tied for the most. Her nine rebounds were tied for the most by any player in the matchup.
Morgan Blakley was Union's second leading scorer with seven points. Ja'Naia Moran and McKenzi Himes each tallied six points.
Madison Cox, Natalie Johnson, Rachel Smith, and Raley Snodgrass also scored for Union. Johnson led the Bulldogs in assists with five, while Moran led Union in steals with two.
The Bulldogs are now 7-20 (7-14 AAC) this season, while Bryan is 23-5 (21-1 AAC). Up next for Union is Senior Day. The Bulldogs will host Kentucky Christian on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 2:00 p.m.
