Union wins at CIU 69-53

Columbia, S.C. – The Union College women's basketball team defeated Columbia International today 69-53. The Bulldogs led by as many as 31 points.

Madison Brady tallied 20 points and nine rebounds, which led all players in each category. Brady's nine made field goals and two blocks are each tied for the most by a Bulldog this season.

Rachel Smith recorded 14 points and eight assists. Mylaiysha Norman scored 11 points, while McKenzi Himes tallied 10. Ja'Naia Moran and Ciara Uphoff combined to score 14 points.

The Bulldogs recorded 41 rebounds, 21 assists, 30 points in the paint, and 37 bench points. Union is now 5-18 (5-12 AAC) this season, while CIU is 4-16 (3-15 AAC). Up next for the Bulldogs a road conference game at Kentucky Christian on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
