The Bulldogs come up short against No. 1 Campbellsville

Kingsport, Tenn. – The Union College women's basketball team played against No. 1 Campbellsville in The Show as the game started on Saturday night, but ended at approximately 12:48 a.m. on Sunday morning.

The Bulldogs were led in scoring by Madison Cox, who scored 17 points off 6-of-12 shooting from the floor and 5-of-11 shooting from 3-PT range.

Ja'Naia Moran registered nine points for Union, while Morgan Blakley and McKenzi Himes each tallied seven. Ciara Uphoff scored six points, while Haley Brock recorded two.

Cox and Uphoff were tied for the most steals by any player in the game with two each. Uphoff led Union in rebounding with six. Union fell short 119-48.

The Bulldogs are now 0-9, while Campbellsville is 6-0. Up next for Union is a matchup at Bluefield on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 5:30 p.m.
