Union falls short against No. 21 Georgetown

Kingsport, Tenn. – The Union College women's basketball team played against No. 21 Georgetown on Friday, Nov. 24. It marked the first of two games for the Bulldogs in The Show, which is being held in Kingsport, Tenn.

Union's Madison Brady was tied for the most points scored by any player with 15. Ja'Naia Moran also scored in double figures for Union as she tallied 11.

Morgan Blakley recorded eight points, which included two successful 3-pointers. Madison Cox, McKenzi Himes, and Taylor Watson also scored for the Bulldogs. Union was 10-of-13 at the free-throw line.

Georgetown was 38-of-68 from the floor and 28-of-34 from the free-throw line. The Bulldogs fell short 111-40.

Union is now 0-8 this season, while Georgetown is 9-0. Up next for the Bulldogs is No. 1 Campbellsville on Saturday, Nov. 25, at 9:30 p.m.
