Women’s basketball falls against Reinhardt

Barbourville, Ky. – The Union College women's basketball team hosted Reinhardt on Thursday, Nov. 16, in the Bulldogs' second home game of the season.

Union wase led in scoring by Madison Brady, who scored 14 points off the bench. Brady was 5-of-10 from the floor. Morgan Blakley was Union's second leading scorer with eight points.

Ciara Uphoff tallied seven points, which included going 2-for-2 from 3-point range. Madison Cox, Haley Brock, Ja'Naia Moran, and Emily Whitson also scored for the Bulldogs.

Reinhardt's Maria Sanchez Ponce led all players in scoring with 17, while Ashley Woodroffe scored 16 for the Eagles. Reinhardt won 95-46.

The Bulldogs are now 0-6 (0-4 AAC) this season, while Reinhardt is 5-0 (3-0 AAC). Up next for Union is a road game against Milligan on Tuesday, Nov. 21, at 5:30 p.m.
