Bio

Kiley Goff is the Head Softball Coach and a native of West Lafayette, Indiana. A standout athlete at William Henry Harrison High School, she earned Big School Softball Player of the Year honors from the Journal & Courier and lettered in volleyball and basketball.

Goff began her collegiate playing career at Purdue University (2021), where she played multiple positions including catcher, second base, and third base. As a freshman, she made an immediate impact—starting 43 of 44 games, second on the team in both runs (20) and on-base percentage (.382%), while being tied for second in hits (33) and leading in triples.

She transferred to the University of Maryland (2022–2023), where she served as team captain and was named Big Ten Co-Player of the Week in April 2022. Over two seasons, she started in 101 games, primarily at catcher. In 2022, she posted a .445 on-base percentage (second on the team), a .992 fielding percentage, and threw out 11 runners. In 2023, she led the Big Ten in runners caught stealing (13) and paced the team with 42 runs scored. She recorded at least one hit in 21 of 25 games during one stretch and totaled 67 runs, 31 stolen bases, and 24 runners thrown out during her Maryland tenure.

Goff finished her collegiate playing career at the University of Louisville (2023), where she started all 52 games as the primary catcher. She stood third on the team in on-base percentage (.437) and second in walks (29). She led the ACC with 21 hit-by-pitches, ranking fourth nationally, and threw out 12 runners—tied for third in the conference. She earned multiple honors, including College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District, All-ACC Academic Team, and ACC Honor Roll.

In August 2024, Goff earned her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Biology.

After graduation, Goff began her coaching career as an Assistant Coach at Indiana State, where she works with hitters and infielders. Her coaching experience also includes serving as head coach of a youth baseball travel team (2021–2022), working Purdue baseball camps, and supporting softball camps at both Maryland and Louisville. She has also provided private softball instruction at D-Bat Elite and worked with the Purdue Turf grounds crew.

Goff brings a wealth of playing experience, leadership, and a strong academic foundation to her coaching career—highlighted by her versatility, competitive spirit, and passion for player development.

She comes from a strong athletic and coaching family. Her father, Greg Goff, is the Head Baseball Coach at Purdue University. Her mother is a TSC specialist, and she has three sisters: Kara, who played collegiate softball at LSU and Louisiana Tech; Kolby, who lives in Dallas, Texas; and Kenzie, currently a freshman at William Henry Harrison High School.

In her free time, Kiley enjoys spending time with her family, powerlifting, and watching her dad’s baseball games.
