Bio
In February of 2024, Union Commonwealth announced the addition of Ed Kleis to the Bulldogs' softball coaching staff.
The 2024 season marked the first season of head coach Renee Hicks' second tenure at Union. Prior to returning to Union, Hicks spent nearly 20 years as the head softball coach at Bellarmine.
Kleis was an assistant coach for Hicks at Bellarmine for 12 years. During that time, Bellarmine set multiple program records.
