Cross country runs at Asbury

WILMORE, Ky. - Three men and two women ran for the Union cross country team at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational hosted by Asbury University Saturday morning.

In 8k competition, the Bulldog men were led by Alex Garcia, who took 30th with a time of 33:49.75. Chandler Mills (45th, 37:15.59) and Hayden Taylor (52nd, 43:40.22) also finished for Union.

In the 5k women's race, Morgan Blakley led the Bulldogs, running a 26:33.25 to place 31st. Dalicia Jackson was 38th in 29:55.38.

With the regular season now over, the Bulldogs will run in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championships in Columbia, S.C. on Nov. 4.
