Cross country opens year at NKU

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Union cross country runners competed Friday in the Queen City Invitational hosted by Northern Kentucky University.

On the women's side, Morgan Bakely was the only Bulldog to compete, finishing in 25th place with a time of 30:54.

On the men's side, Union had four runners. Alex Garcia finished in 37th place in 20:39.3, Dennis Kipkorir was 43rd in 23:24.8, Hayden Taylor was 45th in 24:38.4 and Chandler Mills took 46th in 25:06.47. Their team time was 1:33:50 with a runner average of 23:28.

The Bulldogs look for improvement as they head into their next meet, the Mike and Mary Kate Classic on Saturday, September 17th at Berea College.
