Garomme Hanna breaks javelin throw program record

Richmond, Ky. - On Saturday, in the Rick Erdmann Twilight meet, Union Commonwealth University's Garomme Hanna broke the outdoor program record in the javelin throw.

In the event, he placed third by recording a season-best mark of 52.76m. With this mark, he broke the outdoor program record previously held by Marekus Smith, who had set it at 49.58m back in 2010 at the AAC Championships.
