Union men's track and field recap from AU Invite
Anderson, Ind. – The Union College men's track and field team competed in the AU Invite on Saturday. The Bulldogs earned five top-five finishes and an eighth-place overall ranking with a score of 33.
Peyton Ellison had the highest finish of the day as he won the high jump with a mark of 1.85m. Alex Garcia claimed fourth in the 400-meters as he clocked a time of 53.82 seconds.
Jackson Crume secured fourth in the 5000-meters; running it in 16:38.36. Peyton Frost took fifth in the 600 meters with a time of 1:28.77.
Conner Partin finished seventh in the 1000-meters with a time of 2:57.48. Quin Carter placed 15th in the 200-meters with a time of 24.90 seconds.
The 4 x 400 relay team that included Frost, Garcia, Crume, and Chris Thomas placed fourth with a time of 3:48.35.
Joey Hollaway, Lucas Gipson, and Travis Hensley finished 13th, 19th, and 25th respectively in the shot put event.
