No. 15 Union men’s tennis wins 5-2 over Campbellsville

Barbourville, Ky. – The Union Commonwealth University men's tennis team won a home match against Campbellsville 5-2 on Friday. The Bulldogs won the doubles points and four of the six singles matches.

Doubles:

Diego Garcia Gil and Daniel Caballeros (Union) defeated Nahuel Hernando and Nicolas Andrade 6-3.

Harry Jordan and Joao Cardoso (Union) defeated Sebastian Toledo and Manuel Pinheiro 6-0.

Luke Geduldt and Victor Bourguignon (Union) defeated Mario Sanchez and Nathan Boulard 6-2.

Singles:

Diego Garcia Gil (Union) defeated Manuel Pinheiro 6-3, 6-1.

Nahuel Hernando defeated Luke Geduldt (Union) 6-1, 7-5.

Kacper Gorecki (Union) defeated Nicolas Andrade 7-5, 7-5.

Joao Cardoso (Union) defeated Sebastian Toledo 7-6, 6-0.

Nathan Boulard defeated Harry Jordan (Union) 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.

Victor Bourguignon (Union) defeated Mario Sanchez 6-3, 6-2.

The Bulldogs are now 8-10, while Campbellsville is 6-9. Up next for Union is a home match against Pikeville on Thursday, April 4, at 2:00 p.m.
