No. 14 Union falls to No. 9 Reinhardt

Barbourville, Ky. – The Union College men's tennis team fell short 6-1 on Monday against No. 9 Reinhardt. The loss snapped the Bulldogs' four-match winning streak.

Doubles:

Nikolai Hensburg and Federico Zeiter defeated Diego Garcia Gil and Joao Cardoso (Union) 6-3.

Luciano Fisicaro and Zak Khalil defeated Henning Ebersohn and Niccolo Chiriatti (Union) 6-1.

Juan Vallejo and Pol Masafret defeated Victor Bourguignon and Luke Geduldt (Union) 6-3.

Singles:

Luciano Fisicaro defeated Diego Garcia Gil (Union) 6-2, 6-0.

Augustin Siufi defeated Niccolo Chiriatti (Union) 7-5, 6-4.

Zak Khalil defeated Luke Geduldt (Union) 6-4, 3-6, 6-2.

Kacper Gorecki (Union) defeated Said Santin 5-7, 7-6, 10-8.

Pol Masafret defeated Victor Bourguignon (Union) 6-2, 2-6, 10-8.

Juan Vallejo defeated Joao Cardoso (Union) 7-5, 7-5.

The Bulldogs are now 6-8 (2-1 AAC) this season, while Reinhardt is 10-1 (3-0 AAC). Up next for Union is a road match at Milligan on Tuesday, March 19, at 1:00 p.m.
