No. 14 Union defeats Midway 7-0

Midway, Ky. – The No. 14 Union College men's tennis team picked up a 7-0 win on Saturday at Midway. The Bulldogs are on a four-match winning streak, which includes two victories against ranked teams.

Doubles:

Joao Cardoso and Diego Garcia Gil (Union) defeated Izan Casado and Axel Sperling 6-3.

Luke Geduldt and Victor Bourguignon (Union) defeated Owen McCarter and Daniele Trentin 6-4.

Henning Ebersohn and Harry Jordan (Union) defeated German Collado and Tyler Fox 6-4.

Singles:

Diego Garcia Gil (Union) defeated Daniele Trentin 6-1, 6-1.

Niccolo Chiriatti (Union) defeated Axel Sperling 6-3, 7-5.

Luke Geduldt (Union) defeated German Collado 6-2, 6-0.

Victor Bourguignon (Union) defeated Izan Casado 6-1, 6-0.

Joao Cardoso (Union) defeated Manuel Mirabel 8-1.

Henning Ebersohn (Union) defeated Tyler Fox 8-4.

The Bulldogs are now 6-7 this season, while Midway is 3-4. Up next for Union is a home match against No. 9 Reinhardt on Monday, March 18, at 12:00 p.m.
