No. 19 Union defeats Truett McConnell 7-0

Cleveland, Ga. – The No. 19 Union College men's tennis team opened conference play with a 7-0 victory today at Truett McConnell. It marked Union's first match of the season against a non-DI school.

Doubles:

Harry Jordan and Joao Cardoso (Union) defeated Cameron Lewis and Kadin Pilz 6-1.

Luke Geduldt and Victor Bourguignon (Union) defeated William Grable and Landon Guthrie 6-0.

Daniel Caballeros and Sebastian Stipanov (Union) defeated Ethan Carlson and Max McKay 6-0.

Singles:

Harry Jordan (Union) defeated Cameron Lewis 6-0, 6-1.

Luke Geduldt (Union) defeated Landon Guthrie 6-0, 6-1.

Niccolo Chiriatti (Union) defeated William Grable 6-1, 6-1.

Victor Bourguignon (Union) defeated Ethan Carlson 6-0, 6-0.

Joao Cardoso (Union) defeated Kadin Pilz 6-0, 6-0.

Daniel Caballeros (Union) defeated Max McKay 6-2, 6-0.

The Bulldogs are now 1-2 (1-0 AAC) this season, while Truett McConnell is 0-1 (0-1 AAC). Up next for Union is a road match against Carson-Newman on Sunday, Feb. 11.
