The Bulldogs fall in both matches at EKU

Richmond, Ky. – The Union College men's tennis team opened the 2024 season on Wednesday at Eastern Kentucky in a doubleheader. The Bulldogs fell 6-1 in the first match, while coming up short 5-2 in the second.

First Match:

Doubles:

Fernando Bulnes and Evzen Hollis defeated Diego Garcia Gil and Luke Geduldt (Union) 6-4.

Moritz Mayer and Mario Monclus Martin led Joao Cardoso and Kacper Gorecki (Union) 5-4 in an unfinished matchup.

Ryan Kitchin and J. Anurag Reddy defeated Victor Bourguignon and Sebastian Stipanov 6-4.

Singles:

Mario Monclus Martin defeated Luke Geduldt (Union) 6-4, 7-5.

Evzen Holis defeated Diego Garcia Gil (Union) 6-0, 6-0.

Fernando Bulnes defeated Kacper Gorecki (Union) 6-2, 6-3.
