The Bulldogs advance to the AAC finals

Chattanooga, Tenn. - No. 2 Union defeated No. 3 Reinhardt today in the semifinals of the 2023 AAC Men's Tennis Tournament. The Bulldogs picked up an impressive 4-1 victory over the talented Eagles of Reinhardt.

Singles:

Luciano Fisicaro defeated Sebastiano Zorzi (Union) 7-6, 6-4.

Kacper Gorecki (Union) defeated Harsh Kheterpal 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.

Victor Lopes (Union) defeated Pau Pujadas 6-3, 7-5.

Santiago Diaz Lopez (Union) defeated Bruno Squarcia 6-2, 6-4.

Harry Jordan (Union) vs. Federico Zeiter (6-5, DNF).

Luke Geduldt (Union) vs. Nikolai Hensburg (3-6, 1-0 DNF).

Doubles:

Luciano Fisicaro & Pau Pujadas defeated Harry Jordan & Joao Cardoso (Union) 6-1.

Sebastiano Zorzi & Luke Geduldt (Union) defeated Nikolai Hensburg & Federico Zeiter 6-1.

Victor Lopes & Santiago Diaz Lopez (Union) defeated Michael Wassef & Bruno Squarcia 6-3.

The Bulldogs are now 13-5 (9-1 AAC) this season, while Reinhardt is 10-4 (8-2 AAC). Union faces No. 1 seeded Tennessee Wesleyan in the finals on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. In the regular season, Wesleyan defeated the Bulldogs 7-0.
