No. 13 Union defeats Midway

Barbourville, Ky. - The No. 13 Union College men's tennis team picked up a 6-1 win over Midway on Sunday. The Bulldogs have now won back-to-back matches with the score of each being 6-1.

Union won the doubles point 2-1. Joao Cardoso and Harry Jordan tallied a 6-3 win, while Kacper Gorecki and Victor Lopes registered a 6-1 victory.

In singles play, the Bulldogs recorded five points. Sebastiano Zorzi won (6-2, 3-6, 6-4); Gorecki won (6-3, 6-2); Lopes won (6-2, 6-3); Jordan won (6-0, 7-6); and Niccolo Chiriatti won (6-3, 7-5).

Union is now 4-4 this season. The Bulldogs play at Truett McConnell on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
