No. 13 Union falls short against Huntington University

The No. 13 Union College men's tennis team fell 5-2 against Huntington University on Tuesday. The Bulldogs entered the matchup coming off a 4-3 victory against Belmont Abbey College last week.

Joao Cardoso and Harry Jordan picked up a 6-2 win for Union in doubles competition, but Huntington won the doubles point 2-1.

In singles play, Victor Lopes registered a Bulldog win 6-0, 6-2. Cardoso tallied a win as well 7-6, 6-4. Huntington won the other matches en route to the 5-2 win.

Union is now 2-3 this season. The Bulldogs play at Campbellsville on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
